Once you have Triofox up-and-running, we suggest you to periodically upgrade to the latest releases to ensure that you have the latest bug fixes and enhancements. With the latest release, you also ensure that the Triofox team can help you in case you need to request a support ticket.
Before the upgrade, please make a backup of the Triofox server if possible. If the server is a VM, create a snapshot. Can also make a backup of the Triofox installation folder to another location, in case you want to restore back. The default installation folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Triofox"

The Triofox Web Installer works for both new installation and existing installation upgrade. If the installer detects the presence of Triofox server, it will proceed with an upgrade instead of a new installation.
To download the latest Triofox web installer, log in to your Partner Portal at https://www.triofox.com/management/PartnerLoginpage.aspx
After login, click 'Download and Install'
The download page always lists the latest web installer. Click Download link here to download it.
Run the web installer. It detects the existing installation and show the Upgrading prompt.
After accepting EULA, the installer shows the upgrading tasks. Click 'Upgrade' button to upgrade the installation.
The web installer will download upgrade package from internet and auto upgrade the existing installation. If the triofox server is on private network without internet connection, admin can download the upgrade zip file directly and upgrade via xcopy command.
The upgrade zip file shows at the bottom of the Download page.
Download the upgrade zip and un-compress it. You can see the instruction in the file upgradeTrioFox.txt. Check the file on how to use xcopy to upgrade.
