Overview

By default, all shares published in Triofox shows under the root of the Triofox Windows Client Drive. Admin can choose to mount share in separate drive letter.

Login as admin on web portal. Got to Published Shares.

It shows Home drive letter.

Home drive is the drive the windows client will mount. Can change the drive letter if choose to mount to a different drive.

Can enable Mount each share as a separate drive letter. Once enabled, for each share, can define the drive letter used for the share. In the example, the windows client will mount M drive. And the share file01share01 will be mounted as drive X.

Advanced Settings:

Admin can define advanced settings when mounting share as separate drive, to define how the drive mounting works when the drive letter assigned is not available.

Click Advanced Setting on top right corner to show the options, when the assigned drive is already used.

pick another available drive letter: Choose a different drive letter automatically, staring from Z drive.

skip mounting: Don't mount the drive

force mount when pointing to same share. The client will try to unmount the current drive, then mount the share defined in Triofox.

smart mounting: Triofox client will auto decide what's the best way to mount the drive here.
